UCL CEGE will be holding its annual MSc poster presentation day on Friday 14th September. In addition to submitting a dissertation, students on all our MSc programmes (Surveying, Hydrographic Surveying, Remote Sensing, GIS, Civil Engineering, Environmental Systems and Earthquake Engineering) produce a poster describing their summer research projects. During the poster session, students man their posters whilst staff and people from industry scrutinise their work. The event rounds off the academic year for our students and is an excellent opportunity for them to showcase what they have learned whilst studying on our courses, and for them to enjoy one last social before completing their studies. Prospective students are also invited to attend as an introduction to the research carried out within our department and to the staff that will be teaching them should they take up their places in the autumn. We also welcome attendees from commercial engineering sectors both as a stimulating audience and in a recruitment capacity.
